Panic buyers outnumbered police at most places. The scene was like there’s no more lockdown and the city is no more in grip of Covid19. People wanted to buy lot of grocery, vegetables to stock before 7 pm, the time when shops are ordered to close and road movements are prohibited.

Road traffic was normal at pre-lockdown level in many areas, and at places traffic jam was also seen during panic buying hours in the city
