AMC fixes Covid19 charges for private hospitals

Ahmedabad: AMC (Amdavad Municipal Corporation) has decided that all private hospitals designated as Covid19 hospitals shall provide half of total number of beds to patients referred by AMC and rest half beds will be treated as private beds of their own. Rates of 50% government beds and the ceiling rates for other half beds have been fixed by the AMC today. No private hospital in AMC limit, whether designated or not as Covid19 hospital, is permitted to charge above the ceiling rates.
