Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani’s meeting with State Governor today triggered speculations over State cabinet expansion. There’s no official word either on this meeting or State cabinet expansion. Gujarat BJP has just yesterday got a new State unit president. Outgoing President Jitu Vaghani is MLA in State assembly. It is believed that Vaghani will be placed as Cabinet rank minister in Rupani government. If that is the case, one existing cabinet rank minister from Leuva Patidar community could be dropped for caste balancing. However these are just speculations at this stage.
