Prakash N Shah elected as new President of Gujarati Sahitya Parishad

Ahmedabad: Prakash N Shah has been declared victorious in the election of the post of President of Gujarati Sahitya Parishad. Shah got 562 of 1292 votes. Other candidates Harshad Trivedi and Harikrushna Pathak got 533 and 197 votes respectively. Out of total 1337 vote, 45 were declared invalid. Shah will be on this post for three years. He will replace outgoing president Sitanshi Yashaschandra. Counting of votes for election of members and central committee will take place on October 25. DeshGujarat
