Amazon Fresh announces Ahmedabad launch

Ahmedabad: Amazon India today announced the launch of Amazon Fresh in Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune and Chennai through expansion of its specialized network that enables fast delivery services of daily essentials and grocery under the Amazon Fresh Store on Amazon.in. The specialized infrastructure is designed to ensure safe storage of products in the category with freezer and refrigeration zones, special packaging for frozen food among others. With this Amazon Fresh is now available to customers in 8 cities – Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune & Chennai.
The Amazon Fresh store on Amazon.in will offer 4-hour delivery slots from 6 AM to midnight on Amazon.in. The service is currently available in select pin-codes. Customers will get convenient 4-hour delivery slots from 6 AM to midnight with free delivery for orders above INR 600. Orders below INR 600 will be charged a delivery fee of INR 29. Customers can discover the store on the Amazon.in app, desktop or mobile browser by searching for ‘Fresh’, or by clicking on the Grocery menu.
While Amazon Fresh would charge Rs. 29 for orders upto Rs. 600, Isha Ambani led Reliance Mart is already active and popular among the customers in the city with attractive prices and free delivery for any size or order. Reliance Mart has huge offline infrastructure already in place to serve any number of online orders efficiently.
