Sarkhej: Senior sant of Dashnami parampara, Mahamandaleshwar Bharti Bapu(93) passed away early in the morning today at 2.30 am at his Sarkhej based Bharti Ashram. His Samadhi ceremony will take place at his Girnar based ashram in Junagadh as per Covid19 protocol later. It’s worth noting that recently on April 6, ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had organised its foundation day functions across the State. Bharti Bapu had attended one such function at Dholka in presence of State Education minister and Dholka MLA Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and dozens of other BJP workers. Chudasama in couple of days after attending the function was tested Covid positive. Bharti Bapu was sitting next to Chudasama during 6th April BJP function, and therefore he was advised to isolate self.  DeshGujarat
