Gujarat BJP chief replies media queries over recent AAP activities in the State
June 28, 2021
Gandhinagar; Gujarat BJP has 1.14 crore members and 58 lakh page committee members, State party chief CR Patil said here today while speaking to media persons after party’s State Executive meet which was held in mixture of offline and online format.
When asked about Aam Admi Party (AAP), CR Patil said, “we are keeping watch over it.”
When asked about Surat based realtor Mahesh Savani who joined AAP yesterday, CR Patil said, “there’s difference between a political worker joining party and businessman joining party. A businessman would do it due to raga – dwesha (attachment/aversion) or for own works (business related) but a political karyarkarta would join political activity for political work.”
When further asked about AAP activities in the State, CR Patil said, “AAP would make propaganda out of even one single person joining the party. It would take it up for propaganda. Even if one, two or four persons join AAP, and there are 25 persons seen present in photo, AAP will issue a press release conveying that 300 persons joined AAP. Arvind Kejriwal is in speaking lie and repeat it. He is award winner when it comes to gobbles propaganda. We need to keep watch over it, but I don’t take him very seriously because Gujarat is a different type of state. Third political party hasn’t been succeeded in Gujarat. The people of Gujarat have not greedy (lobh, lalach) mentality and therefore in local body polls, only PAAS persons fielded by AAP won in Surat while, they lost deposits everywhere else. People who lost such a huge number of deposits, none take them seriously. It is very clear.’ DeshGujarat
