Narmada Ghat construction near completion at Gora: PM may perform first aarti here

Statue of Unity: Construction of ghat at Statue of Unity fame central Gujarat venue Kevadia Colony has been almost completed at a cost of around Rs. 14 crore.
A 131 meter long and 47 meter wide ghat will host daily Narmada river aarti. It is located near Gora village in Garudeshwar taluka of Narmada district.
It is learnt that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had suggested construction of ghat for daily aarti at this place when he was aboard a Narmada river cruise vessel in its inaugural run last year.
The Prime Minister is likely to perform first Narmada aarti on this ghat when it is completely ready. DeshGujarat
