Dr. Ashok Patel (30) becomes the younger Vice Chancellor of Indian origin abroad

Gandhinagar: 30-year old Dr. Ashok Patel from Mehsana in North Gujarat has set a record for being the youngest Vice Chancellor of Indian origin, as certified by India Book of Records.
Dr. Ashok Patel was appointed as the Vice Chancellor of the Armenian-Russian International University ‘Mkhitar Gosh’ in Armenia on January 21st this year. Dr. Patel has completed his MBBS from Tver State Medical University, Russia and his post-graduation from Orenburg State Medical University, Russia.
In addition to that, Dr. Patel has worked in interpreter team during PM Narendra Modi’s visits to Russia. Dr. Patel was also part of the delegation to former President Pranav Mukherjee in October 2013. He also worked with NSA Ajit Doval and industrialists such as Anil Ambani during their visits to Russia. He has also worked with celebrities including Karanvir Bohra and Barun Sobti.
