Mahesh Savani does it again; further trolled for another dead tree pole photo
July 20, 2021
Surat: Surat based realtor turned politician Mahesh Savani has done it again. In attempt to show the BJP ruled Gujarat in poor light, Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader Savani had recently lifted a photo of electricity pole in Sindh, Pakistan from online and posted it as a pole supported by a tree in cyclone-hit Saurashtra region of Gujarat. As this misrepresentation was exposed soon by vigilant tweeples , Savani deleted his Facebook post!
Now today, Savani apparently in attempt to save his prestige has published another post. He has posted a photo that shows a dead tree support to power line. However Savani has again attracted huge trolling, as the fact is that this wooden support has been placed not by the Government or power company but by some private person who has raised the height of his house below a powerline.
Savani has named the place as Babariyadhar village of Rajula taluka in Amreli district in his latest post. A vigilant social media user Shailesh Ahir has published a video of same on Facebook and pointed out that electric poles and TC are there on the both sides. The support of dead tree has been put in the middle by a private person just for keep power line high enough.
Shailesh Ahir has in his post addressing Savani said that the support has been put so that no person may hurt or suffer damage. He said, ‘the village you are out to defame is linked to Jogidas Khuman in history….if you follow Gopal (Italiya), your prestige will suffer damage.’
On Savani’s post, a person has pointed out in comment section that the village belongs to Congress leader Amrish Der’s constituency and this photo could be an arrangement for damage control. Another person has commented that the power line was erected first and the house was built later. The support has been put to keep line high. DeshGujarat
