AAP corporators missing; Posters surface in Velanja and Umra areas of Surat

Surat: Local youth installed banners claiming Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) corporators as ‘Missing’ to protest their negligence about various issues in ward no. 2 in Surat city.
Ward no.2 in Surat consists of Velanja and Umra area in the city. The locals had approached AAP corporators several times and asked them to resolve some problems of that area. However, the locals protested by installing banners claiming AAP corporators ‘missing’ in the Velanja and Umra area for not taking serious actions to resolve those problems.
The locals are complaining about unresolved drainage and lighting related issues in the ward. They claimed that the accidents of cows often occur in the area due to absence of lights on highways. The parallel roads along with the highways needs repairing, as per the locals. DeshGujarat
