Soon RT-PCR negative report not mandatory on arrival at Surat airport for those fully vaccinated

Surat: Those landing at Surat airport will soon not require to produce their RT-PCR negative report any more if they are fully vaccinated.

A representation in this regard was made by local Chamber of Commerce before the Municipal Commissioner. A meeting at Chamber of Commerce was held earlier by station managers of airlines that operate from Surat airport and a decision was taken to make representation before the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC).

Accordingly a representation was made before the Municipal Commissioner and the demand was granted. DeshGujarat

Present rules:

All passengers arriving at Surat from any state other than Gujarat are required to carry their negative RT-PCR report mandatorily; test for which should have been taken within 72 hrs prior to prior to arrival. Passengers without the valid test reports may be subject to a self-paid test at the arrival airport.

All passengers arriving at Surat who are found to be symptomatic during the screening will have to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test. It will be mandatory for them to download the SMC Covid-19 Tracker App.

All passengers arriving at Surat must fill the Self Declaration Form. Steps can be followed as mentioned below or refer to the QR code to know details:
