Gujarat govt – Amazon India sign MoU

Gandhinagar: Department of Industry and mines, Government of Gujarat has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amazon India for capacity building to enhance e-commerce export.
According to a note released by the State government, Amazon will hold taining sessions, webinars and workshops in main cities of Gujarat including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Bharuch and Rajkot for B2C (Business to Customers) e-commerce export in cooperation with Industry department of State government and help MSME units to enter with their products in global market.
Digital Market Place of Amazon functional in 17 countries including U.S., Canada, Brazil, France, Germany, U.K., Australia, Japan, Singapore, Turkey and U.A.E will create opportunities for direct selling in e-commerce export mode for MSME units in Gujarat, a note informs.
The State government has suggested tht training programmes of Amazon should start before upcoming Diwali in four regions of the State. DeshGujarat
