8 EV charging stations installed on Ahmedabad – Mumbai highway

Ahmedabad: A start-up named Tesco ChargeZone installed 8 new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations on National Highway-8 between Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
These EV charging stations have fast charging capabilities and they can charge an electric vehicle within 40 minutes. Each of them is of the capacity of 60 kilowatts.
Kartikey Hariyani, founder and CEO of the Gujarat based start-up Tesco ChargeZone informed that the eight charging stations include two at Mumbai airport and two at each locations namely between Bhilad and Vapi, between Surat and Navsari and between Vadodara and Bharuch.
He added that two more EV charging stations will be commissioned near Premchandnagar, Satellite area in Ahmedabad soon. The start-up has installed around 260 charging stations and 950 charging points across the country for the electric vehicles. DeshGujarat
