Six more arrested in Bharuch religious conversion case

Bharuch: Investigation teams have nabbed six more accused in religious conversion case involving foreign fund in Bharuch district of Gujarat.
As many as 150 tribal Hindus were converted to Muslim faith at Kankariya village of Amod taluka in Bharuch district. So far 10 accused are arrested. The investigation has revealed that Rs. 7 lakh fund had arrived from Bahrain while Rs 3.41 lakh fund had been spent by AFMI trust run by Salauddin in Vadodara. Rizwan Patel from Palej, Shamina Yakub from Patan, Aiyub Patel from Jambusar based mosque and two office bearers of Baitumal Trust based in Achhod are among those arrested.
Those six arrested in latest are to eb produced in court. Police is likely to seek their remands (police custody).
