Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced two more micro containment zones in attempt to prevent further spread of covid-19 infection. The city has already 9 existing micro containment zones.

With addition of two more such zones, the total number is now 11. The latest micro containment zones are declared in two localities of South and North West zones.

House number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 of Sadhbav flat in Jayant park area of Isanpur covering 37 population have been put under micro containment zone.

Similarly Bungalows number 9,10,11 and 20,22,22 in Abhishree Bungalows, Part 2, Rajpath Rangoli Road in Ambli area of city covering total population of 38 have been put under micro containment zone.

AMC health department will start screening and house-to-house surveillance from December 30 in these two micro containment zones. DeshGujarat
