Copy of application in Police Station against AAP Councillor in Surat goes viral

Surat: Copy of an application submitted against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Corporator Kiran Khokhani and another person Mayur Bazariya at Amroli police station in Surat has gone viral on social media. The application has been submitted for nonpayment of Rs 1,69,000 over furniture work.
The application has been submitted to Amroli police by Chandresh Maganbhai Malaviya who runs a shop named Mahavir hardware in Mota Varachha. According to application draft, Malaviya had done furniture work on 16th May 2019 in Jogi fitness gym of AAP Corporator Kiran Khokhari and his partner Mayur Bazariya. The amount of Rs 57,000 for furniture and Rs 1,12,000 for labor work has to be collected from AAP councilor and his partner, as per the application. Victim has alleged that accused didn’t pay him the money despite repeated reminders. The gym was closed later.
AAP corporator Kiran Khokhani said that he had submitted an answer at Mota Varachha police chowki. He said that the order for furniture, gym handling and financial transactions were performed by his partner Mayur Bazariya. DeshGujarat
