Bharuch gets its first radiation and chemotherapy centre

Bharuch: The J.B. Mody cancer hospital at Jayaben Modi Charitable hospital at Ankleshwar, inaugurated on Tuesday, is the first cancer radiation and chemotherapy centre in Bharuch district.
It will be run by the Ankleshwar Industrial Development Society (AIDS). It is built at a cost of Rs 28 crore. The JB Modi family, along with Bharatbhai and Pallaviben Mehta, contributed Rs 20 crores for the hospital. Other contributors include GCPTCL port, the GACL and other companies and persons.
The hospital is equipped with surgical equipment for various types of cancers such as breast, head and neck, colorectal, gastrointestinal, complex pancreas, onaco gynae, kidney related cancer etc, informed trustee of AIDS Ashok Panjwani. The chemotherapy, radiotherapy and cancer-related surgeries will be conducted at the hospital. DeshGujarat
