Porbandar: The passport related services are on halt at Passport Seva Kendra at head post-office in Porbandar due to fault in modem since 12th May. The officials on duty informed that the service will be resumed within 2 to 3 days after arrival of a new modem.

The Passport Seva Kendra at Porbandar head post office provides service of issuing new passports and passport renewal. Average over 40 people visit it daily. A team of BSNL arrived after an official informed them about the issue. They did new earthing after finding a fault in earthing. However, the modem didn’t work even after new earthing.
