Ahmedabad: Cyber Crime Police have nabbed one Irshad Ansari, resident of Rakhiyal area of city in connection with his social media posts.

Social Media Monitoring Cell official of city Police had spotted Irshad Mohammad Moeen Ansari’s Facebook and Whatsapp posts in which Ansari had asked fellow Muslims that while Rachi and Uttar Pradesh people doing their duty, whether those in Ahmedabad are sleeping or what?

Ansari had also posted the pictures of Muslim community people doing protest at Kureshi Chawk in Mirzapur area of city after Juma namaz on Facebook in order to make them viral, said city police official.

Social Media Monitoring Cell cop Ketul Modi filed complaint against Ansari in Cyber Crime Police Station. Ansari has been booked under IPC section 153, 505(1) Kh, Gh and 505 (2) according to police. DeshGujarat
