37 parking plots readied for PM’s Vadodara public meeting

Vadodara: The Vadodara Municipal Corporation and the district collector have made parking arrangements in 37 parking plots for the public meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address at the city’s Leprosy Ground on June 18.
Of these 37 parking plots, 22 are big ones where over 16,677 cars, 9,490 buses 2,200 two-wheelers can be accommodated.
With traffic and security in mind, trees have been trimmed in and around 12 kms area of the venue. More than 300 employees have been involved in ensuring cleanliness while 25 engineers have been entrusted special duties.
As many as 8 JCBs, 8 dumpers and 1 bull dozer are at work in the vicinity of the Leprosy Ground. Maintenance of 2,000 streetlights has been undertaken and super sucker and jetting machines are taking care of drainage every night. DeshGujarat.
