PM to dedicate/perform khat mahurat of 1.41 lakh homes under PM Awas Yojana in Vadodara

Vadodara: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate and conduct khat mahurat of 1.41 lakh homes, which are either ready or to be constructed in the state under the ‘PM Awas Yojana’ during his Vadodara visit on June 18.
The PM will dedicate 1 lakh homes constructed in rural areas of 33 districts and 38, 071 homes for poor and middle class citizens in urban areas of the state. He will also perform khat mahurat of another 2,999 homes to be constructed under this welfare scheme in the urban areas.
Till now, 3,72,865 homes have been constructed under this scheme in the rural areas of the state, of which 2,93,000 homes have come up in 14 tribal districts alone. As many as 6.24 lakh homes have been built in the urban areas of the state under this same scheme. DeshGujarat
