BJP launches membership drive ahead of assembly elections

Gandhinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has embarked on a membership drive -2022 with the objective of entrenching deeper the roots of its ideology ahead of the state elections.
Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil on Friday enrolled actors of Gujarati films by offering them the saffron scarf at BJP’s state headquarters, Sri Kamalam.
Along with the membership drive, BJP also named in-charges on 59 assembly seats (six seats of Kutch and 53 of North Gujarat including Ahmedabad). The in-charges will be given the responsibility of micro-management at the ground level along with the local organization in order to ensure victory.

In the membership drive, interested persons are supposed to give a missed call on 7878182182 to receive a text message containing the link to fill up their personal details in order to complete the enrollment and generate an identity-card.
Under the drive, page committee members will be made primary members during 16th to 23 June. From 23-30 June various Morchas will take up primary member drive. From 1-10 July, the drive will be taken up by various cells and departments. From 10 July, various Morchas will take up the drive. BJP has made 1.13 crore members in the past.
Under the membership drive, there are plans to enroll specially talented persons using 3 lakh QR code stickers. The efforts will be to ensure 1.5 times the number of members before June 30 in this membership drive compared to the earlier membership drives. DeshGujarat
