Gujarat govt launches programme for Nano Urea spray through drones

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government today launched a programme to offer drone usage for Nano urea spray in farms for which Rs. 35 crore provision has been made in State’s annual budget. The government said it aims to cover 1.40 lakh acres of land as part of this initiative for which the farmers can apply on i-Khedut portal. Gujarat based IFFCO that makes Nano Urea has purchased 35 drones and trained its field staff for this initiative. IFFCO will make evaluation report after this exercise. State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched the initiative from Mota Isanpur village based Maheshbhai Patel’s farm.
