Gujarat govt appoints IPS Hasmukh Patel as Chairman of GPSC

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today announced that IPS Hasmukh Patel has been appointed as the Chairman of the Gujarat Public Service Commission.
In a notification, the General Administration Department of the Gandhinagar Secretariat stated,”In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 316 of the Constitution of India, Shri Hasmukh Patel, IPS is appointed as Chairman, Gujarat Public Service Commission, Gandhinagar, with effect from the date he takes over charge of the office.”
IPS Hasmukh Patel is a DGP rank officer currently serving as the Chairman of the Gujarat Police Recruitment Board, as well as the Managing Director of the Gujarat Police Housing Corporation Limited. DeshGujarat
