5,000 Rajput youths display sword skills at Bhuchar Mori in Gujarat

Jamnagar: Total 5 thousand Rajput youths performed Talwarbaji for 11 minutes at Bhuchar Mori in Dhrol, Jamnagar on 31st Bhuchar Mori Shraddhanjali Samaroh today.
The 31st Bhuchar Mori Shraddhanjali Samaroh was held in Bhuchar Mori in Dhrol today on 18th August. Total 5000 Rajput youths performed Talwar Baji for 11 minutes at 10 am today. Bhuchar Mori Shahid Smarak Samiti and Akhil Gujarat Rajput Yuva Sangh organise special programs every year from the last 30 years to give tribute to the martyrs of Bhuchar Mori Battle.

The battle of Bhuchar Mori, also known as battle of Dhrol, was fought between the Jamnagar king Jam Sataji and Akbar’s army in Vikram Samvat 1648. It was fought between the army of Kathiawar led by Nawanagar State and the Mughal army led by Mirza Aziz Koka at Bhuchar Mori plateau near Dhrol, Saurashtra.
