Gandhinagar: Ruling BJP is facing a potential rebel candidature situation and uneasiness among a section of cadres across over a dozen seats as on today. The actual picture of the rebellion will be clear by the last date of withdrawal of nomination forms.
-Former MLA of Keshod assembly seat Arvind Ladani has resigned and announced independent candidature.
– Former MLA Dinesh Patel alias Dinu Mama has announced independent candidature on Padra seat as he is denied a ticket.
– Sitting MLA Madhu Shritavsav is mulling to contest as an independent candidate on Waghodia seat after denial of ticket.
– Former MLA Harshad Vasava has announced independent candidature against in Nandod seat after denial of ticket.
– Sitting MLA Kesrisinh from Matar joined AAP two days ago but after a meeting with MoS and Lok Sabha member of this area, Devusinh Chauhan he has rejoined BJP within two days.
– RC Makwana supporters have offered their resignation as the party has fielded Shivabhai Gohil on Mahuva seat in Bhavnagar district.
– Sitting MLA Balram Thawani supporters reached State BJP headquarters after the party gave Naroda seat ticket to Payal Kukrani.
– Party cadres from Vijapur rushed to party headquarters protesting Raman Patel who is fielded by the party on this seat.
