Morbi Bridge Collapse: Police names Oreva Director Jaysukh Patel in 1262-page chargesheet

Morbi: The Morbi Police filed a 1262-page charge sheet against 10 accused in the Morbi bridge collapse case, Oreva group’s director Jaysukh Patel is shown as the 10th accused in the chargesheet.
Jaysukh Patel of Oreva group is charged under IPC sections 304, 308 & other sections. It is to be noted that during a suo motto hearing of this case in Gujarat High Court, Oreva had submitted that the company is ready to take responsibility for the 7 orphaned kids and compensate the families of the victims of the tragedy.
On 30 October 2022, the suspension bridge over the Machu river collapsed in the Morbi town of Gujarat, killing more than 130 people. DeshGujarat
