Gujarat Panchayat Paper Leak Case: Main Accused Jeet Nayak nabbed

Gandhinagar: Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Gujarat Police today nabbed Jeet Nayak, the main accused of the Gujarat Panchayat Junior Clerk recruitment exam paper leak case. Nayak works in a printing press in Hyderabad, the capital city of Telangana. The contract to print the question papers for the recruitment exam was assigned to KL Hightech company in Telangana. Jit Nayak had leaked the question paper and handed over it to Pradip Nayak. ATS Gujarat has already nabbed Pradip Nayak who is from Odisha.
Over 9.50 lakh youths were to appear in the recruitment exam for the posts of Junior Clerk in the Panchayat department of the State government in Gujarat. The exam which was to be conducted at 11 am today was declared postponed, a few hours ago, early in the morning today. Over 7 lakh youths were all set to appear in exams and many of them had reached the cities where examination centers are located. Gujarat ATS which was keeping watch through human and technical intelligence had nabbed 15 persons believed to be involved in an interstate gang that is involved in the paper leak.
