Tweeples bust fake news of PM Modi learning Namaz at Dawoodi Bohra community event
February 17, 2023
Gandhinagar: Twitter users were quick to react and bust a fake new propaganda tweet that claimed that PM Modi was learning how to do Namaz from Dawoodi Bohra community’s head, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin during the inauguration of the new campus of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah, in Mumbai on February 10th.
In a later deleted tweet, a Twitter handle by the name of Ritu Satyasadhak claimed, “Modi ji is learning to read namaz from his family member? Same DNA match complete ? Such a heartwarming picture”
However, when checked the sequence in unedited video and in photographs, the reality was totally different as PM Modi was receiving a Mala from the community leader, not offering Namaz.
A senior journalist and political analyst reacted and said “Malicious disinformation to generate hate is hate speech by another name. Those who spread malicious disinformation have a certain DNA, right @RituRathaur? ”

Another user tweeted the right images and wrote, “Propaganda tweet is Deleted now. PM was receiving Mala and not offering Namaz. Hope other running the fake news propaganda will also delete it.”

Ritu deleted her tweet after being confronted by several people on Twitter, but later shared a doctored video clip of the Prime Minister saying “Allah Tala has given me work and I will continue to do so.”

Again Tweeples were quick to bust her fake new propaganda as, the original context of the Prime Minister’s words was when he shared a story about Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, who, when asked by the Prime Minister to take rest due to old age, replied, “Allah has given me work and I will continue to do it.”
Yes it is Fake @RituRathaur.
Modi ji was quoting lines of Syedna Sahab.
Stop sharing fake and edited clips all day, troll! https://t.co/5rAEVeYYn4 pic.twitter.com/sw9FZT5Xxq
