Deakin the first Australian University to have branch campus in India at GIFT City Gujarat: PM Albanese

Gandhinagar: Deakin University, the first Australian University to have its branch campus in India. It will come up in GIFT City in Gujarat. Another university has also shown intention to establish its campus in GIFT City. These details were shared by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in his speech at an event to celebrate Gujarat – Australia relations in the Education sector here. Prime Minister Albanese further stated – “we have finalized Australia – India Education qualification mechanism. Indian students and that studying in Australia will be recognized when they are back home. Indian qualification will be recognized in Australia through this mechanism.
@Deakin University will also become the first foreign university approved to open a campus in India – with more Australian universities hoping to join them.
