Dahod: Lok Sabha member from Dahod and ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Jasvantsinh Bhabhor met with Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on April 5 and demanded to shut a toll plaza of Bathwada on Ahmedabad – Indore highway.
Bhabhor in his representation stated that an announcement was made by the minister in Lok Sabha that in any 60 km stretch of national highway, only one toll booth will be allowed and any other toll plaza existing within 60 km distance will be abolished. But on Dahod – Godhra highway route, there is more than one toll booth in 60 km stretch. Among the two, a toll booth at Bhathwada proves very costly for the people. the locals get no relief at this toll booth., the minister stated in his representation. DeshGujarat
