Tribal leaders from Arunachal Pradesh meet PM Modi after Gujarat visit

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with a delegation of community leaders from various tribes of Arunachal Pradesh at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg. These leaders had visited Gujarat before meeting the Prime Minister.
During the interaction, one of the community leaders mentioned that the government of Arunachal Pradesh, under Chief Minister Pema Khandu, had organized a visit to Gujarat and Delhi for them. They expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to experience the amazing culture of Gujarat.
The Prime Minister expressed his joy at meeting the delegation and inquired about their recent visit to Gujarat, particularly their experiences in Kevadia and GIFT City. He also highlighted the historical and cultural connections between Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat, mentioning the belief that Rukmini, the wife of Lord Krishna, hailed from Arunachal. The Prime Minister expressed his hope that more people from Arunachal Pradesh would visit Gujarat in the coming years.
Chou Siharaja Choutang, one of the tribal leaders, described his visit to Gujarat and expressed that the development they witnessed in the state would be a memorable experience for life.
“We learned a lot after experiencing the culture and development of Gujarat, and we will discuss the knowledge we gained upon returning to our state,” said tribal leader Para Camder Tok. DeshGujarat
