Railway selects Karamsad for Gati Shakti-Amrit Bharat station scheme

Anand: Western Railway has chosen Karamsad Railway Station for the Gati Shakti-Amrit Bharat Station (AMS) scheme.

Under the AMS scheme, the existing railway station will be replaced with a new modern building. The new railway station building will feature a spacious campus, modern entrance, comfortable seating arrangements, drinking water facilities, modern toilets, updated ticket windows, and covered parking spaces for vehicles. Additionally, a 100-meter long and 6-meter high iron wall will be constructed using iron extracted from the old platform, displaying illustrations depicting the life of Sardar Patel.
