Gujarat CM visits State Emergency Centre; NDRF, SDRF teams moved to excess rain-hit districts

Gandhinagar: The Government has moved four teams of NDRF to Kutch, Jamnagar, Junagadh and Navsari districts in the wake of heavy rain, local flooding and water logging situation arising due to heavy to very heavy rainfall. In addition to this, two teams of SDRF are also moved to Jamnagar and Junagadh districts.
These details were given to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel who visited the State Emergency centre late in the evening on Friday to review the situation. Patel spoke to district collectors of Junagadh and Kutch. He received information on relocation of the people from water logged Visavdar taluka villages. He also conversed about overflowing pond and dam in Anjar in Kutch.
