AMC installs four public sculptures at various places in the city

Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has installed four public sculptures in the city at various places. The one named Heritage Scultpure has been installed at Kankaria Lake gate number one at Pushpakunj char rasta featuring Patang and firki along with a child who is wearing glasses and playing Pipudi. A 5-tonne sculpture is 13 by 19 by 19 in size. It is made using waste pipes and electric cable roll scrape.

A sculpture namely Knowledge Hub (Gyan Kendra) has been installed at Commerce size roads. It is made using scrap. It is the world’s largest head sculpture. It is 7 tonnes and in the size of 14 by 14 by 15.

The third sculpture is installed at Panchvati panch rasta featuring a bull. It is made using scrap material generated by AMC. It symbolizes the stock market as the city of Ahmedabad is the commercial capital of the State. A 3-tonne sculpture is 20 by 8 by 10 in size.

The fourth sculpture is installed at Gujarat Vidyapith char rasta in which a child is carrying Patang. A 5-tonne sculpture is 21 by 5.3 by 19 in size.
