Another Talati held by ACB for taking bribe; Middleman also nabbed

Patan: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat has nabbed another Talati in a bribe case, along with a middleman.
The latest Talati to be nabbed for taking a bribe is Ankit Prajapati (30), a Revenue Talati of Bhilot village and also in charge of Javantri village in Patan district. Prajapati is a class-3 servant of the Gujarat government.
According to ACB, he had demanded Rs. 12,000 bribe and accepted the same through a middle man Devshi alias Jitu Thakor (31) who is an advocate.
ACB note informs that a person wanted a solvency certificate for which he had contacted Talati who demanded Rs. 12,000 bribe for the task. A complainant was not willing to pay a bribe and contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged and on behalf of Talati, a middleman was held after he received a bribe. DeshGujarat
