Gandhinagar: With the rains subsiding in most parts of Gujarat, the state is taking a sigh of relief after receiving incessant rains. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released the likely scenario of rainfall in the state for the next 5 days – July 26 to 30. According to the forecast, several places in the state are likely to have light to moderate rain during this period.

However, for July 26 and 27, there are a few places in South Gujarat that may witness heavy rainfall. So, which are the places next where heavy rains are possible in Gujarat?

For today, i.e., July 26th, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli districts are put under a yellow mark, meaning heavy rains are very likely at isolated places.

On July 27, only Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli are likely to have heavy rains. Light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at a few places in all the districts of Gujarat except Kutch.

According to the IMD bulletin, the Kutch region will witness a dry spell for the next 7 days, and rainfall is likely to recede in all other districts of Gujarat. The map here shows the areas that may get light rainfall between July 26 to July 31. DeshGujarat
