Gandhinagar: Monsoon is active over the state of Gujarat with a few places receiving incessant heavy rainfall. However, starting tomorrow, which is the 31st of July, only light to moderate rains are forecasted for the state of Gujarat until the 2nd of August.

For Sunday, i.e July 30th, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain warnings for the districts of Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Navsari and Valsad marked with a Yellow alert.

Light to Moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at many places in all the districts of Gujarat and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, but there is no rain forecast for Surendranagar and Botad.

From July 31st till August 2nd, Light to Moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at a few places in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Panchmahal, and Dahod, Porbandar, Junagadh, Gir-Somnath, Kutch, and in Diu, as well as in all the districts of South Gujarat region. DeshGujarat
