Surat: Dr. Mitul Trivedi, who claims to have designed Chandrayaan-3, was summoned to the office of the Police Commissioner for inquiries into his alleged assertion. This individual had contended that he was responsible for creating the design of ISRO’s lunar exploration mission. However, doubts have arisen regarding Mitul Trivedi’s affiliation with ISRO. Presently, there is no substantiated evidence or information confirming his association with ISRO, leading to ongoing discussions on this matter.

While arriving at the office of the Police Commissioner, Trivedi stated that he possessed the contract from ISRO as proof to substantiate his claim. However, when further questioned by the media, he evaded providing any answers and left abruptly.

Mitul Trivedi, a resident of Swati Society near LP Savani Road in Surat, had discussed his role as an ISRO employee and asserted his involvement in Chandrayaan 3’s design. He claimed to be working with ISRO since 2011 and NASA since 2013. Nevertheless, Trivedi lacks supporting evidence, and he is not on the ISRO payroll. Consequently, he has come under the scrutiny of the Surat Police Commissioner. He was summoned to appear before the Police Commissioner at 5 p.m. today.

In response to the controversy regarding the legitimacy of his claim, Mitul had earlier stated, “Give me some time; I will attempt to resolve everything. I will do so when the documents arrive. If I were fraudulent, I wouldn’t be here; I would have hidden and escaped. My expertise lies in designing. I am also engaged in the Chandrayaan-3 project. Let the public decide whether I am genuine or not. Let them make their judgement based on the available documents.” DeshGujarat
