Accused who attempted to derail a moving passenger train near Vadodara nabbed

Vadodara: Police have nabbed a person who wanted to derail a moving passenger train so that he could loot money and valuable items from the victims.
The accused is Varnama village-based Kalpesh alias Buli Ramanbhai Rathodiya who has been previously booked in 15 cases of crimes.
According to police, Kalpesh wanted to derail a passenger train by putting a fence pole on the track. He had executed his plan on August 27 but a fast-moving train crushed the obstruction, he had put on the track on Varnama – Itola stretch of the Delhi – Mumbai main railway route. However the train stopped and the track was checked by Railways staffer, following which number of trains were delaye on this main route that connects Mumbai to Delhi and Mumbai to Ahmedabad.
