Rajkot’s total strength of e-buses now 75; Another 75 to be added next

Rajkot: Gujarat Chief Minister today flagged off 25 electric buses purchased at a total cost of Rs. 30 crore recently by Rajkot Municipal Corporation. Among them, one if the Rajkot Darshan bus for tourists.
Government of India’s Department of Heavy Industries has under the Fame India Scheme Phase-2 allotted 50 e buses to Rajkot city that are already on the road, serving the citizens. Another 100 e buses are approved for Rajkot in the second phase, of which 25 buses were flagged off by Chief Minister Patel during his visit to the city.DeshGujarat
