Ahmedabad: A meeting between Swaminarayan sadhus and Sanatani sadhus was held at Shivanand Ashram in the city. It was participated by SGVP’s Bal Agam sami, Swaminarayan sect’s Purushottamcharan Shastri, Sanatani Chaitanya Shambhu Maharaj, Parmatmanandji Maharaj, Shivanand Ashram’s Trustee Jitubhai Chauhan, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Ashok Rawal, Ashwin Patel among others. The meeting discussed the rift between Sanatani and Swaminarayan saints arising out of distortion of Hindu faith and Gods in Swaminarayan sect’s literatures, discourses and in the latest sculptures.
