Gohil and Chavda on Delhi visit to meet Congress high command

New Delhi: The Gujarat Congress President, Shaktisinh Gohil, along with Congress Legislature leader Amit Chavda, is on a visit to Delhi for a two-day period starting today. Their purpose is to hold discussions with senior party leaders regarding potential changes in the organization of the Gujarat unit.

Mukul Wasnik, the AICC general secretary responsible for Gujarat, will be joined by leaders from the Gujarat unit in presenting an evaluation of the performance of state office-bearers to senior party leaders.

The party’s plan involves making new appointments, starting with the positions of city and district presidents, and subsequently filling other organizational roles.

Manish Doshi, the State Congress spokesperson, stressed that the party’s leadership is committed to recognizing hardworking individuals by giving them greater responsibilities, while those who have been inactive will be replaced to allow new talent to step into these roles.

He further noted that a comprehensive performance assessment of office-bearers at all organizational levels has been carried out after Shaktisinh Gohil was appointed as GPCC president. DeshGujarat
