PM Narendra Modi reappointed Chairman of Shri Somnath Trust for 5 more years

Prabhas Patan: Shri Somnath Trust has in a note, shared the details of the recently held meeting of Trustees of Shri Somnath Trust at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar. The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the trust Narendrabhai Modi who was on a two-day visit to the home-state.
Shri Somnath Trust in a note informs that in this meeting Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi has been appointed as the Chairman of Shri Somnath Trust for another five years.
The Prime Minister during this meeting launched a dashboard that shows the number of pilgrims arriving at Somnath Mandir, the details of online bookings, Puja ceremony, Prasadi distribution etc. With the launching of this dashboard, all trustees will get daily details of various data pertaining to Somnath Mandir online.
The meeting passed accounts of the financial year 2022-23. Services of internal/statutory auditor and GST consultant were extended for another one year in the meeting. It was informed in the meeting that the number of annual visitors to Somnath Mandir has been around one crore. DeshGujarat
