Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Panchayat Seva Selection Board has revised the eligibility criteria for the Talati Cum Mantri exam, now requiring candidates to have a graduation qualification. Previously, students who had passed the 12th grade were eligible for the exam.
The most recent Talati Cum Mantri exam occurred in May, spanning 2697 centers across the state. The exam, held after a five-year hiatus, offered over 3400 positions, attracting participation from more than 8.50 lakh candidates.
Later, successful candidates from the Talati Cum Mantri and Junior Clerk exams were issued appointment letters in Gandhinagar. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel personally distributed the letters, conferring jobs to 3014 Talati Cum Ministers of Panchayat Seva and 998 junior clerks.
The appointment letter ceremony unfolded at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, where approximately 4500 candidates, including Talati Cum Ministers and Junior Clerks, received their official appointment letters. DeshGujarat
