Agri power during daytime by December 2024: Gujarat CM to Aravalli farmers

Aravalli: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today, while addressing the public meeting in Modasa, announced that the farmers of Aravalli will get daytime agricultural power supply by December next year.

Addressing the public, the Chief Minister said, “We provide 24-hour electricity, but there is a demand for electricity for agriculture during the daytime. Let’s ask Kanubhai (the Minister of Energy who was present on the stage) when this can be implemented.”

After the response from the Energy Minister, the CM announced, “We are here in December at present, and by next December, you will get agricultural power supply during the daytime.”

Then, the CM instructed the officials present at the dais to complete the work by December 2024.

While addressing the public, the Chief Minister also stated, ‘All of you have received the guarantee of development from PM Modi. Gujarat has benefited from a double-engine government for the past two decades. Surat recently received the gift of the Diamond Bourse, and before this, tribal areas like Bodeli and Chhota Udaipur received development projects worth Rs 5,000 crore.’

‘Going a step ahead, Aravalli district has received development projects worth Rs 264 crore in a single day,’ he added. DeshGujarat
