Banas Dairy identifies locations to set up four more gobar gas pumps
January 02, 2024
Palanpur: Banas Dairy is likely to commission four gobar gas-based CNG pumps this year.
One such pump will come up near Radhanpur, the other near Vinchhivada, the third shall be near Agathala and the fourth will come up near Bhukhla.
The decision to set up four such pumps was taken after the success of the first such pump near Dama on Deesa-Tharad road.
Around a dozen villages near Dama sell cow and buffalo dung to Dama-based CNG pump where gas is generated using dung. The farmers earn lakhs of Rupees as payment which is paid twice every month, the same way as they get payment for selling milk.
New four plants will benefit the villages located near the locations of pumps. DeshGujarat
