Anand: In response to a question raised in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly about the construction of a civil hospital in Anand district, Health Minister Rishikesh Patel stated that there are plans to build a hospital at the cost of Rs. 160.59 crore on an open space in the Anand campus of Gujarat Veterinary Hospital and Pashupalan Mahavidyalaya University, at Borsad Chowkdi.

The Sanction Committee approved the construction of this hospital on April 25, 2023. Minister Shri Rishikesh Patel mentioned that the foundation stone for Anand Civil Hospital will be laid soon. He also informed me that General Hospital-Anand and SSG Hospital at Petlad are operational in Anand district.
