GSRTC launches Ahmedabad Airport – Rajkot AC Volvo ST Bus Service

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) launched a direct Air Conditioned (AC) luxury bus service from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport to Rajkot today. The AC Volvo bus service between Ahmedabad Airport and Rajkot is offering convenient transportation at a basic fare of Rs. 523 (exclusive of tax) per passenger for a one-way journey.
The main objective of this bus service is to provide more convenient bus connectivity to passengers from Saurashtra to Ahmedabad airport for international and interstate travel. Under this initiative, both morning and evening bus services will be provided to passengers.
A special cabin has been set up as the bus station at SVPI Airport under this initiative. The AC Volvo is a sitting-only bus, that departs for Rajkot from SVPI Airport at 6 am. The bus will leave Rajkot Bus Terminal at 5 pm to arrive at SVPI Airport. The current fare for a single journey is Rs. 523 (exclusive of tax).
The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation plans to introduce more buses on this route in the future. The AC Volvo bus route from Ahmedabad International Airport to Rajkot will pass through Naroda, Geeta Mandir, Nehrunagar, Limdi, and Chotila Highway. Passengers can book tickets in advance online by downloading the GSRTC Official app.
A one-way journey between Rajkot Bus Port and Ahmedabad Airport will take around 4 and a half hours, as per the GSRTC website. DeshGujarat
